Stainless Steel Large Flange Splined Nutserts are now available in Trade Kits which offer ‘sets’ of Rivnuts in various formats with different numbers of Rivnuts and all of these are packaged up in a tidy little box and keeps all the bits together. The only thing else needed are an insert tool and the relevant drill bits.
Usage: The Stainless Steel Nutserts provide a strong captive thread in thin panels. Nutserts are also known as Rivet Nuts, Rivnuts, or Captive Nuts. The Stainless Steel Nutserts are Round. Additionally, Nutserts are either open or closed. Our Large Flange Splined Nutserts are “OPEN”. These fittings form an open tube when installed. Conversely, closed Rivnuts form a closed tube when installed. Additionally, Rivnuts fit a single thread diameter and pitch. Other fittings can used with Rivet Nuts. Rivet Nuts also require proper installation tools for their use.
