Description

This Swage Bolt Timber Insert Hex Adjuster SRTT BlackTech kit includes fittings suitable for a Vertical Run wire, as there are two tensioning points. There are enough fittings for a single wire run but they are BLACK.

Usage: n this application, both ends are fed into holes drilled in the Top and bottom rails. Top end of the run uses an Timber Insert with an M6 Swage Thread Terminal to attachc into the top rail. The Bottom end uses an M6 Swage swage thread terminal. Together, the ‘screws’ create the required tension

The fittings must use hydraulic swaging. They suit wire runs of 3.2mm Stainless steel wire rope, in a vertical configuration provided top and bottom rails are both thick enough and strong enough. The length of a wire run is measured from the inside of the top rail to the inside of the bottom rail. Installation is simple. Drill and and install the Timber inserts into the top rail. Then mark and drill the bottom rail for the hex adjuster. Then cut the wire to length, swage the terminal bolts, screw each wire into the timber insert first, and then use the lower hex adjuster to apply tension.
