Through Bolt Swage Rigging Screw
Through Bolt Swage Rigging Screw is a tensioner and has M6 thread. These attach directly into Concrete Posts. While other anchors can be used to attach to concrete, we strongly recommend using the through bolts.
Especially relevant are the both right-hand and left-hand threads. Firstly, these allow the body of the rigging screw to easily provide tension to your wire rope, without bending or stretching the wire. Tighten the body of the rigging screw with a c-spanner by rotating the body clockwise until tensioned to your needs.
Additionally, all fittings and tools mentioned: c-spanner and hydraulic swagers are available through our store as well. The Jaw Swage Rigging Screws are primarily sized according to the diameter of wire with which they work. Therefore, they are used in concert with other fittings. Consequently with a similar swaging style – these additional fittings work with the same diameter of wire rope.
► Turnbuckles work because they have both right-hand and left-hand threads, the body of the rigging screw can easily provide tension to your wire rope, without bending or stretching the wire.
► The through bolt is normally fastened to a concrete post or upright that forms the frame or area that will contain the wire.
► The rigging screw requires a hydraulic swager to crimp the fitting to the appropriate diameter of wire rope.
