Description
Wire Rope Grips Double 10.0mm Zinc Steel are the fitting that is used to fasten the ends of wire back onto itself. These are ‘swageless’ wire fittings that are also known as bulldog clips or wire clamps. They can be fastened by using a wrench and do not require hydraulic or manual hand swaging. Each size is designed to work with a small range of diameters of wire Rope. These fittings are “Commercial” graded which makes them a Non-Rated fitting and not appropriate for lifting projects
Usage: Wire Rope Grips Double 10.0mm Zinc Steel are best used when using hand swages are not appropriate AND a particular load rating is NOT required. These fittings are designed to work with High and Medium Flexibility Stainless Steel Wire Rope.The fittings can be used in combination with rope and a thimble to make a secure wire loop. These heavy duty double saddle versions and comes with larger nut size for greater tightening force in larger sizes.Note: Over tensioning must be avoided when tightening to prevent stripping the nuts or shearing the thread.
