Heavy Duty Swager Round Dies
These little beauties work for hydraulically swaging Galvanised or Stainless Steel Wire Rope. The jaws can be used on fittings that suit any 0.5mm to 4.0mm Wire Rope that we sell. Hex dies are also available to swage / crimp stainless steel fittings giving the tool a huge range of applicability.

Description
Hardened Heavy Duty Hydraulic Swager Round dies are offered separately – in case of loss of the original or if there is an interest in having some extras. All of the Round dies that we supply with our Swaging Tools are (and have always been) Hardened steel.
These round dies excel in working with miniature wire when used on Copper, Nickel Coated Copper, Aluminium, or Stainless Steel Swage Sleeves. Instead of a hexagonal imprint, they make a neat round tube out of any hourglass or oval ferrule that is compressed.
Usage: They are awesome. For 2.0mm wire and above, these dies can be used with DIN Sleeves to achieve a quality connection that can meet US Military Specifications. Used as recommended, these jaws are hard enough that they will (probably) never need to be replaced. But if you do wear them out, or lose them in the forest – the replacements are available here…
These little beauties work for specific tools. These work with our Heavy Duty Hydraulic Swager. There is another round set of dies that work with our Professional Hydraulic Swager – as well as being available in specific sizes.
The dies are available as individual (matched) pairs or as a set. Die pairs from 1.0mm to 4.0mm are a standard item. A Heavy Duty Hardened Round Die Set contains 1 each of the 1.0mm Dies, 1.2mm Dies, 1.5mm Dies, 2.0mm-2.5mm Dies, 3.0mm Dies, 3.5mm Dies, and 4.0mm Dies. Die pairs sized at 4.5mm, 5.0mm, 5.5mm, and 6.0mm are also available on special order.
