Gym Cable Ball 4.5mm Flanged Grommet is used to protect and locate/attach a nylon Gym Cable Ball to Gym Cable. This type fits into the Ball and is one of two ways of fixing the ball and or shield to 4.5mm Gym Cable.  This flanged Rubber Grommet slips into the opening of the Ball through the shield which is placed over top of the Ball. Our Ball Shield fittings are pretty important if you are tired of smashing your Balls in a heavy workout – and this keeps your balls from bouncing all over the place. Basically, these flanged grommets are bits of rubber that are designed to act as a frictional location point. In practice, they must be put on before any terminals are swaged onto the wire.

Usage: Gym Cable Flanged Rubber Grommets are used with both sizes of our Nylon Gym Balls on various types of lifting or control cables where are potential impact points due to weight driven over retraction – but they can be used on most Gym Equipment Cables. Choose a size that will fit snugly on your Gym Cable. Please note that the shields are retained over the ball with this grommet – also known as an O-ring or donut
