  • Contact with structural materials made from dissimilar alloys such as mild steel or aluminium may result in Tea Staining of the Wire Rope spread through capillary action
  • Thimbles and Ferrules are NOT recommended to secure and terminate this relatively stiff wire rope.
  • Aluminium crimps may lead to corrosion through a dissimilar alloy reaction in aggressive environments
  • Tools, dust or a workspace contaminated by dissimilar alloys may lead to galvanic corrosion and Tea Staining
