Saddle 6mm Attachment Kit G316 Stainless Steel are anchor fittings. Saddles are termination fittings for a flat surface. The saddles are strongest when the saddle and fastener is under a direct tension load. Consequently, saddles fasten with counter sunk screws, pan head screws, rivets and Tek screws. All fasteners in this kit are Stainless Steel. Additionally, saddles may fasten with bolts screwed into an embedded thread fastener such as a rivet nut or a timber insert. In summary, saddles are versatile fittings in many situations.
Usage: Saddle 6mm Attachment kits work with open turnbuckles, closed turnbuckles, manually swaged fittings, and hydraulically swaged terminals. Eye Strap Saddles are in sizes that work with a specific size (range) of wire or rope. Rope fastened to a Saddle Eye Strap in a loop, should be ‘protected’ by a thimble. The thimble distributes the load to prevent the wire being pulled through a radius that is tighter/smaller than is recommended. Saddle Eye Strap fittings are designed to work with open turnbuckles, closed turnbuckles, manually swaged fittings, and hydraulically swaged terminals.
